This year's Frankfurt Motor Show has been a huge hit for the organisers, where carmakers presented several new products. The exciting show ended, and it is only a memory now, the time has come when the entire automotive world is focusing and anticipating from the next big show: Los Angeles.
Few days back, the organisers of the 2013 L.A. Auto Show announced that this year's event will be a bigger one, where 22 vehicles would be making their world debut, with a total 56 overall debuts . L.A. Auto Show President Lisa Kaz, said, "As one of the world's largest media hubs and car buying markets, Los Angeles offers a unique combination of press exposure and valuable consumer contact".
Almost all the globally recognized car manufacturers including BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Hyundai, Honda, Toyota, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Porsche, Nissan, etc. will present their vehicle and concepts for the first time at the show.
Few of the carmakers have already announced their plans for the LA. Porsche, the ultra-luxury carmaker will debut the all-new Macan compact SUV for the first time, alongside the company's all-new 911 Turbo cabriolet. Mini will also present the next-generation Cooper at the event. Moreover, Mercedes-Benz will globally premiere its four new models, and the Nissan would present two new vehicles in the LA.
Speculations are also on rife that Chevrolet and GMC could introduce their all-new compact pickup trucks - the Colorado and Canyon. A Cadillac ATS coupe, BMW 4-Series convertible and a surprise from Jaguar is also expected to make its way to the LA motor show.
Along with several world debuts, the LA auto show will also see a number of North American debuts. The cars which were already unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show were Mercedes GLA crossover, Volkswagen electric Golf, BMW's i8 plug-in hybrid sports car, Audi's A3 convertible and others will also make their way to the LA auto show.
