The new Chevrolet Sail sedan has been spied in China during one of its test runs. This is strong indication of company's desire to launch it in China by mid of 2014. The 2014 Chevrolet Sail sedan is said to be much premium and larger than the ongoing model which, all of a sudden, generates possibility of an all new Chevrolet car that can be easilty placed beneath the sedan.
The Sail sedan saw the daylight in China, firstly, in 2010 and in 2012, it went under the hammer and people witnessed a refurbished version of the car. Rumor mills were abuzz that it would receive some tweaks and tunes again, but the company discarded such a plan and went on to offer a completely new car.
The all new Sail sedan would be presented with a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder motor that will have the ability to generate a decent power of 110bhp and a peak torque performance of 141Nm. This engine is replacing the existing 1.2 and 1.4 liter engines that used to power the vehicle earlier.
Furthermore, the new Sail sedan would also have cup holders on the center tunnel which are also present in the ongoing model, but, ironically, are useless as they are placed in the door panels.
