CarDekho has been constantly informing you about different carmakers plan for the upcoming 2013 Detroit Motor Show, which will start from January 2014. The North American International Auto Show will feature at least 18 global debuts, which shows how big will this show be.
The motor show will witness a debut in nearly all vehicles segment, including concepts, luxury, sports/performance, crossovers, trucks, SUVs, and alternative fuel technologies. NAIAS 2014 Chairman Bob Shuman said that, "Manufacturers have clearly stated that 'Detroit' continues to be a significant component in their global auto show strategies. Our partnership with manufacturers in Asia, Europe, and North America has never been stronger, and their ongoing confidence in the NAIAS is evident by the critical worldwide product unveilings headed for Detroit's world stage."
The organizers hasn't made any statement about the vehicles to be unveiled, however they confirmed the companies which will participate and showcase their vehicles. The companies to showcase their vehicles are Acura, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cadillac, Chrysler, Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Mercedes, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.
The globally renowned carmakers are busy in preparing for the SEMA and the Los Angeles Auto Show, but it is speculated that BMW will display its M3/M4, Ford to Mustang and Lexus will show RC-F at the Detroit Motor Show.
