The next generation Ford Mustang has been creating quite a hoopla ever since it was announced that it would be globally unveiled on December 5, 2013 across four continents and six cities. But surprisingly, its spy shots have been leaked ahead of its official unveiling. We have learnt that this time around the Ford Mustang would be 90 kgs lighter than the current generation.
It resembles a lot to its predecessor as Ford has retained the primary elements of the vehicle, except some minor tweaks in the exterior. The sixth generation Ford Mustang possesses a more aggressive front fascia along with a noteworthy grille. Furthermore, the grille is assisted well enough by the slender headlights that also have integrated LED daytime running lights. Apart from these, the 2015 Ford Mustang also comes with front splitter, dynamic aide skirts and a dominating hood.
This exquisiteness in stlying carries futher to the sides as Ford has incorporated sturdy fenders in accordance with a more premium roofline. Last but certainly not the least, the rear side comes out with elegant taillights which are distinguished by a contrasting black panel. Additionally, rear diffuser and dual exhaust system find a place in this ongoing extravaganza. Ford hasn't disclosed the engine options with which it would launch the Mustang, but it is expected to carry three different engine options - a 2.3-litre, four-cylinder EcoBoost engine with power output of 275-310 bhp, a 3.7-litre V6 powertrain generating 305 bhp, and lastly the impeccable 5.0-litre V8 mill capable of producing 420 bhp.
