Audi India will launch the 2015 A6 facelift in the country on August 20, 2015. The vehicle was officially revealed at 2014 Paris Motor Show in October last year. It is coming with the stylistic changes inside out with no mechanical upgrades. With all the added goodies, the 2015 A6 is expected to be slightly costlier than the outgoing car and will continue to compete with the Mercedes Benz E Class, BMW 5-Series and Jaguar XF.

Speaking of the changes, the 2015 A6 gets re-designed bumpers and new single frame grille. The saloon will also get Matrix LED headlights along with re-styled LED taillamps. The side profile is identical except for the new set of alloys. On the inside, it will receive new upholstery and appliques along with the updated Audi’s MMi infotainment system.

Internationally, A6 facelift is powered by updated TFSI and TDi engines, in India, Audi will stick with the current powertrains like they did with the Q3 facelift. It will continue to offer the 2.0-liter TFSI petrol along with the 2.0-liter TDI diesel. The 2.0-liter 35 TFSI petrol generates 177 bhp @ 4000-6000 rpm with 320 Nm of max twist in-between 1500-3900 rpm. The 2.0-liter 35 TDI  musters 174 bhp @ 3750-4200 rpm and 380 Nm of torque in-between 1750-2500 rpm. Both the engines will be mated to the Multitronic CVT transmission in front-wheel-drive layout.
