Tata Motors is geared up to launch Zica by the mid of next month. The Indian automaker is introducing this car as a replacement of Indica, which ruled the Indian roads for long. Also, this launch comes at a crucial time as Tata has not been able to largely impress the customers with its recently launched vehicles. Thus, Zica comes with a lot of expectations on its shoulders.
It gets a new design philosophy and shows various changes, which can also be witnessed inside the cabin. The car is powered by 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine and 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel engine, which can deliver maximum power of 83 bhp and 69 bhp respectively. The car will be competing against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Chevrolet Beat.
We have gathered all the information available of Zica and faired it against the rivals to see how this upcoming hatch sits in its segment.
With refreshed interiors and addition of various storage spaces in the car, Zica looks all set to take on its competitors. Overall ride quality is good and if Tata is able to keep the price in control, the automobile looks disposed to dazzle the Indian market with its upgraded technology.
