Even India's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has announced discounts of upto INR 55,000 on its entry level car line-up for this month. A total discount of INR 55,000 can be availed on the company's smallest offering- Alto 800 and the tall-boy Wagon R. The Alto K10, which arrived in a new avatar last month, now comes with an option of Celerio-famed Automated Manual Transmission (popularly known as AMT). The fuel efficiency per litre in the new model has gone up by 15 percent than its predecessor, and now stands at 24.07 kmpl. It is now 15mm taller and wider as well.
In terms of exterior changes, the new K10 comes with a refreshed front fascia, featuring a new single-slat chrome grill, swept back headlamps, tweaked bumpers, new tail-light and body colored wing mirrors and door handles. While a new dash layout, sporty three-spoke steering wheel, power windows, keyless entry, gearshift indicator, key off reminder and headlamp warning buzzer comes as prominent changes inside the cabin.
