Just after the launch of baby Gallardo in India, the Sant'Agata manufacturer is now prepping up to open its dealership in Bangalore and Vietnam in next few weeks. In India, the sports car maker has also started taking orders for the 2015 deliveries of its latest debutant Huracan. Yesterday, the sports car manufacturer launched the Huracan LP 610-4 at a price tag of INR 3.43 Crore(ex.showroom Delhi). Huracan is the replacement of Lamborghini's most successful car Gallardo.
Up until now, Lamborghini had its dealership in Delhi and Mumbai and with the opening of Bangalore dealership, the automaker's approach in the Indian subcontinent seems quite optimistic.
Making its first global debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the sleeky sportscar shares some styling cues with elder sibling Aventador. The car embraces angular projector headlamps, massive air intakes on the front-bumper and multiple creases to aid aerodynamics. The body is made on all new structure with extensive use of ultra light compounds like carbon fiber and aluminum, resulting in a light kerb weight of just 1,422 kgs. The supercar rides on Pirelli 20-inch radials with 245/30 cross-section for front while the rear adorns fatter 305/30 R20. Under the hood, Huracan is powered by 5.2-litre mid mounted V10 engine which develops an enormous output of 610bhp and 560Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to 7-speed LDF dual-clutch transmission.
Talking about the performance and acceleration, Huracan is capable of achieving 0 to 100kmph in mere 3.2 seconds and 200kmph in just 9.9 seconds while the top speed of Huracan is 325kmph.
