Mahindra announces Free PUC Check-up on June 5th to celebrate 'World Environment Day'

To celebrate World Environment Day, home grown auto major Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), has announced a free PUC check-up camp for all personal and commercial vehicles of the brand on 5th June 2014. This initiative is organized at company dealerships’ workshops in June every year. Mahindra is conducting this in association with the Society for Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and the Society for Automotive Fitness & Environment (SAFE).

Mahindra customers can avail this PUC check at any company's dealership, without paying a single penny. The initiative aims at providing an opportunity to ensure that their vehicles are within emission limits, as per guidelines set by Regional Transport Offices (RTOs). The pollution check will be done by RTO standardized machines and will check the required parameters.

Same as Mahindra, recently, Skoda India in association with Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) also announced a 'Free Pollution Check' program on World Environment Day. The 'Free Pollution Check' could be done at any of company's dealership across the country. In this pollution check, specially trained staff members will use advanced techniques and devices to clean the engine. PUC check can be availed from any Skoda dealer and the company will also give the valuable tips in maintaining your car. Customers visiting the "Free Pollution Check" camp will also receive a Free PUC certificate by the SKODA dealerships in association with Society for Indian Automobile Manufacturers.
