Mercedes-Benz will reveal the MLC-Class at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show, which will compete with the existing BMW X6. The MLC-Class rumours have been floating on the internet for a while and it was recently confirmed by Mercedes-Benz to its investors in Berlin.
The new MLC-Class is at the moment called as the Mercedes-Benz Concept Coupe SUV and will be unveiled at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show. The Concept Coupe SUV has its design derived from the new GLA-Class and this is clearly evident. BMW X6 didn’t have any competition for the last six years and now it is about to change.
The Concept Coupe SUV, once it gets into production will be based on the ML-Class platform and is mostly likely to be sold as MLC-Class. This will include the off-road suspension from the ML and this will be built in the Alabama, United States like the other SUVs. The biggest market for this SUV will be United States and China, hence it is being unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show.
