Mercedes, the German luxury carmaker has unveiled the Maybach Pullman, ahead of its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show which starts from 3-15 March, 2015. This chauffeur-driven limousine is 1053 mm longer than the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and with a wheelbase of 4418mm, the car gives class leading rear legroom.
Inside the cabin, the rear passenger gets two executive seats that recline up to 43.5 degrees having powered footrest. As is typical for a Pullman, the four passengers can sit facing each other in the compartment with an electrically-operated partition window which can go from transparent to opaque at the touch of a button. The luxury saloon also gets Burmester high-end 3D surround sound system with hand-selected loudspeakers.
Powering this ‘Palace on Wheels’ is the potent 6.0-litre, V12 biturbo engine which musters an output of 530 hp and peak torque of 830Nm.
On the unveiling of new Mercedes-Maybach Pullman Ola Källenius, Member of the Daimler AG Management Board, responsible for sales and marketing of Mercedes-Benz Cars said, "Quite apart from providing stately and stylish seating for high-ranking passengers in the comfort and spaciousness for which it is famed, the new Mercedes-Maybach Pullman is of course the embodiment of exclusivity at its highest level. One can sense the significance and greatness of it in every detail."
