Seven-time 'World Champion' and Formula 1 phenomenon, Michael Schumacher, is believed to be in a critical condition following his skiing misadventure. This tragic incident took place in the French Alps where he was up for some quality personal space.
Surprisingly, despite having an helmet as safety precaution, the German suffered serious head injury as he fell and hit his head on one of the rocks, while skiing. He was conscious even after the mishap but while on the way to hospital in a chopper, he lost consciousness and perished into a state of coma. It is believed that the helmet rescued Schumacher and minimized the impact of collision, in an otherwise, what would have been an immensely ominous scenario.
Michael Schumacher is world renowned personality for his several milestones in Formula 1. He is being described as 'statistically the greatest driver the sport has ever seen' by the Formula 1 website. He has almost every F1 record under his belt and nothing was left for him to accomplish in this sport. He finally bidded adieu to F1 in 2012 after being associated with Mercedes-Benz for the very first time in his career which spanned of almost two decades.
