Japanese carmaker Nissan today showcased its potential in the racing world. The company has displayed its racing car for the 2014 season of Super GT. Christened as "Nissan GT-R GT500", this racing model has been closely developed by Nissan and its performance partner NISMO.
Unlike Nissan's previous Super GT race car, which was based on the R35 GT-R, the new 2014 GT-R GT500 looks like its road-going sibling. The new Nissan GT-R GT500 features a modified front end with front integrated spoiler, rear diffuser and rear wing spoiler, suspension mounting and buffed up body for better drag coefficient. To make it lighter, the company has used carbon-fiber monocoque structure.
