Just one more day and we will get to see the much awaited Nissan Terrano, a crossover based on popular Renault Duster. And what is more interesting is the fact that just before a day of its official unveiling in Mumbai, the clear spy pictures of the Terrano have hit the interweb. The pictures were clicked by an auto enthusiast Mrunal Gandhi, who shared the pictures on his Twitter handle.

Looking at the pictures, one can safely say that although the Terrano has been designed on the Duster Compact SUV, Nissan has managed to make it look different and appealing at the same time. The major change that the Nissan Terrano has received is at the front fascia. It now has revised bumper, honeycomb design, new headlights and a big Nissan badge. In fact the front fascia of the Terrano seems to have taken inspiration from the company's flagship SUV X-Trail.

The rear of Nissan Terrano has some sheet metal changes, a split rear light arrangement, while some part of the lights has been given on the bootlid. So, the rear too looks different than the Duster. Other than the above mentioned changes, we are expecting the car to remain the same as Duster. However, Nissan could install more features inside the cabin, which might make the vehicle go about Rs. 50,000-60,000 pricier than the Duster.

Our sources suggest that the unveiling is taking place tomorrow, but the launch will happen sometime in the festive month October. And like we have stated before in our earlier stories, it will be the last cross-badged vehicle from Renault-Nissan alliance. This is all what we have for now, stay tuned to CarDekho for all the latest updates on the same. Cheers!
