Adani Transmission rose 2.33% to Rs 236.80 at 11:56 IST on BSE after consolidated net profit rose 747.99% to Rs 841.88 crore on 144.41% rise in net sales to Rs 1782.29 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.
The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 17 January 2018.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 331.76 points, or 0.95% to 35,413.58.
On the BSE, 2.40 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far, compared with average daily volumes of 1.09 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 252 so far during the day, which is also a record high for the counter. The stock had hit a low of Rs 235.10 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 60.50 on 9 March 2017.
Adani Transmission is India's largest private transmission company. The company has also forayed into the power distribution sector with the acquisition of the integrated business of generation, transmission, distribution and retail of power for Mumbai City.
