Amara Raja Batteries leads gainers in 'A' group

Lead acid batteries maker Amara Raja Batteries jumped 8.88% to Rs 651.65. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The stock hit a record high of Rs 673.80 in intraday today, 12 September 2014.

Financial software maker Oracle Financial Services Software galloped 6.58% to Rs 3,935.35 after the company said its board declared an interim dividend of Rs 485 per equity share. Based on the current market price, the stock offers a dividend yield of 12.32% on an interim dividend of Rs 485 per equity share. The stock hit a record high of Rs 4,080 in intraday today, 12 September 2014. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group.

Drug maker Cipla spurted 6.38% to Rs 612.55. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a record high of Rs 616 in intraday today, 12 September 2014.

Lead acid storage battery maker Exide Industries climbed 6.19% to Rs 174.95. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 175.45 in intraday today, 12 September 2014.

Piped gas distributor Indraprastha Gas rose 5.20% to Rs 431.10. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 443.80 in intraday today, 12 September 2014.
