APL Apollo Tubes consolidated net profit rises 49.85% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 11.47% to Rs 1315.87 crore

Net profit of APL Apollo Tubes rose 49.85% to Rs 41.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 27.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 11.47% to Rs 1315.87 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1180.52 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 45.06% to Rs 145.89 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 100.57 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.87% to Rs 4545.00 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 4213.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
