Asahi India Glass standalone net profit rises 51.13% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 3.51% to Rs 587.31 crore

Net profit of Asahi India Glass rose 51.13% to Rs 41.50 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 27.46 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 3.51% to Rs 587.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 567.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 34.35% to Rs 130.68 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 97.27 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.76% to Rs 2336.18 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 2167.99 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
