Ashok Leyland standalone net profit declines 66.51% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 32.87% to Rs 5893.49 crore

Net profit of Ashok Leyland declined 66.51% to Rs 77.02 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 229.97 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 32.87% to Rs 5893.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 4435.53 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 115.58% to Rs 721.78 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 334.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 39.56% to Rs 18577.06 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 13311.14 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
