Asian Star Company consolidated net profit declines 10.00% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 28.84% to Rs 1124.20 crore

Net profit of Asian Star Company declined 10.00% to Rs 23.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 25.79 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 28.84% to Rs 1124.20 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 872.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 11.48% to Rs 72.55 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 81.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 2.47% to Rs 3300.83 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 3221.26 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
