AUM of mutual funds rises to 27.05 lakh crore end November 2019

Equity funds net inflows moderate at Rs 933 crore in November 2019

The net Assets under Management (AUM) of the mutual fund (MF) industry increased by 2.7% (by Rs 0.72 lakh crore) to Rs 27.05 lakh crore in November 2019 over October 2019. The average net AUM of the industry grew by 3.1% rise (by Rs 0.81 lakh crore) to Rs 26.94 lakh crore in November 2019 compared with October 2019.

Net inflow in the industry stood at Rs 0.54 lakh crore in November 2019, against net inflows of Rs 1.33 lakh crore in October 2019. The overall mutual fund folios increased 0.3% to 865.2 lakh end November 2019 over 862.6 lakh end October 2019.

AUM of the Income/Debt Oriented Schemes increased 4.5% (by Rs 58156 crore) to Rs 13.52 lakh crore in November 2019 over October 2019. Meanwhile, Income/Debt Oriented Schemes registered a net inflow of Rs 50923 crore in November 2019. Net inflows in Income/Debt Oriented Schemes totaled to Rs 154323 crore in April-November 2019. The number of folios in the Income/Debt Oriented Schemes moved up 2.0% to 70.12 lakh end November 2019.

AUM of the Growth/Equity Oriented Schemes increased 0.9% (by Rs 7207 crore) to Rs 7.96 lakh crore in November 2019 over October 2019. Meanwhile, Growth/Equity Oriented Schemes registered a net inflow of Rs 933 crore in November 2019. Net inflows in Growth/Equity Oriented Schemes totaled to Rs 47402 crore in April-November 2019. The number of folios in the Growth/Equity Oriented Schemes increased 0.2% to 622.03 lakh end November 2019.

AUM of the Hybrid Schemes increased 0.3% (by Rs 1111 crore) to Rs 3.58 lakh crore in November 2019 over October 2019. Meanwhile, Hybrid Schemes registered net outflows of Rs -572 crore in November 2019. Net inflows in Hybrid Schemes totaled to Rs 14623 crore in April-November 2019. The number of folios in the Hybrid Schemes fell 0.6% to 95.52 lakh end November 2019.

AUM of the Solution Oriented Schemes increased 1.9% (by Rs 341 crore) to Rs 0.18 lakh crore in November 2019 over October 2019. Meanwhile, Solution Oriented Schemes registered a net inflow of Rs 138 crore in November 2019. Net inflows in Solution Oriented Schemes totaled to Rs 1220 crore in April-November 2019. The number of folios in the Solution Oriented Schemes increased 0.1% to 53.96 lakh end November 2019.

AUM of the Other Schemes increased 2.9% (by Rs 5074 crore) to Rs 1.80 lakh crore in November 2019 over October 2019. Meanwhile, Other Schemes registered a net inflow of Rs 3019 crore in November 2019. Net inflows in Other Schemes totaled to Rs 26664 crore in April-November 2019. The number of folios in the Hybrid Schemes increased 2.3% to 23.51 lakh end November 2019.
