The Australian share market ended sharply higher on Monday, 05 October 2015, as investors continued hunting for risk assets, after prospects of a near-term interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve ebbed in the wake of Friday's weaker-than-expected U.S. employment data. All ten ASX sectors added weight, with shares in bullion, resources, and oil explorers being top gainers. The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index and the broader All Ordinaries index both gained 1.9% to 5150.50 points and 5184.10 points, respectively.
