Avenue Supermarts standalone net profit rises 72.86% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 22.48% to Rs 3809.96 crore

Net profit of Avenue Supermarts rose 72.86% to Rs 167.10 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 96.67 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 22.48% to Rs 3809.96 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 3110.64 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 62.58% to Rs 784.66 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 482.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 26.33% to Rs 15008.89 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 11881.12 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
