Axis Bank standalone net profit declines 1.21% in the March 2016 quarter

Total Operating Income rise 12.39% to Rs 10898.96 crore

Net profit of Axis Bank declined 1.21% to Rs 2154.28 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2180.59 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Total Operating Income rose 12.39% to Rs 10898.96 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 9697.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 11.77% to Rs 8223.66 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 7357.82 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Total Operating Income rose 15.53% to Rs 40988.04 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 35478.60 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
