Bajaj Auto announces sales figures

For month of January 2016

Bajaj Auto reported total sales of 293,939 units in January 2016 compared to 288,746 units in January 2015, recording a growth of 2%. Total sales comprised of 252,988 units of motorcycles and 40,951 units of commercial vehicles. Exports included in total sales stood at 132,069, declining by 8% year-on-year.

For the period April-January 2016, total sales stood at 33,15,062 units compared to 33,17,278 units in April-January 2015.
