Bharat Forge net profit rises 137.58% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 36.88% to Rs 903.72 crore

Net profit of Bharat Forge rose 137.58% to Rs 118.98 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 50.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 36.88% to Rs 903.72 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 660.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 30.87% to Rs 399.93 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 305.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 7.00% to Rs 3305.37 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 3089.18 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
