Bharat Heavy Electricals net profit declines 4.21% in the March 2013 quarter

Net profit of Bharat Heavy Electricals declined 4.21% to Rs 3237.54 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 3379.81 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales declined 2.15% to Rs 18850.16 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 19264.40 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit declined 6.04% to Rs 6614.73 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 7039.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 0.83% to Rs 47617.67 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 47227.86 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
