Blue Dart Express net profit declines 26.59% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 12.90% to Rs 502.89 crore

Net profit of Blue Dart Express declined 26.59% to Rs 30.65 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 41.75 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 12.90% to Rs 502.89 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 445.43 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit declined 34.06% to Rs 124.40 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 188.66 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales declined 10.62% to Rs 1932.51 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 2162.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
