Bodal Chemicals reports fire accident at Unit-IV in Vatva, Ahmedabad

Bodal Chemicals announced that on 14 May 2015, around 6.45 p.m. approx, there was fire at the Company's Unit-IV situated at Phase-II, G.I.D.C., Vatva, Ahmedabad at plant area and storage area situated at the unit-IV.

Further, Fire was brought under control after considerable efforts by fire fighters and fortunately, all labors, workers and staff members are safe. No one has been injured due to fire.

Due to fire part of inventories, part of plant and machinery, part of electronic components, part of Building structure and others has been damaged. The Company in process of estimation of loss amount caused due to fire.

Furthermore, the above said items are fully insured and Company is in process to lodge claim with respective insurance company.

The Company has also inform that compare to the overall production capacity of the Company; this unit has hardly have capacity of 2% to 3% of total production. Hence, this will not make any impact on the production, sales, turnover and profitability of the Company anyhow.
