Net profit of Britannia Industries rose 5.97% to Rs 210.91 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 199.03 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 5.58% to Rs 2230.04 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 2112.14 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.For the full year,net profit rose 7.28% to Rs 884.61 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 824.58 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 7.65% to Rs 8962.28 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 8325.44 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
