CESC standalone net profit rises 1.64% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 4.57% to Rs 1465.00 crore

Net profit of CESC rose 1.64% to Rs 248.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 244.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 4.57% to Rs 1465.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1401.00 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 1.29% to Rs 707.00 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 698.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 4.92% to Rs 6434.00 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 6132.00 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
