Cipla net profit declines 8.29% in the March 2013 quarter

Net profit of Cipla declined 8.29% to Rs 267.56 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 291.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales rose 5.08% to Rs 1906.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 1814.05 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.

For the Audited full year,net profit rose 34.09% to Rs 1507.11 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 1123.96 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 17.74% to Rs 8015.37 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 6807.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
