Corporation Bank leads gainers in 'A' group
Bajaj Finance, Madras Cements, Indiabulls Real Estate and Berger Paints India are among the other gainers.
Public sector bank Corporation Bank spurted 6.80% to Rs 402.70 after net profit rose 1.22% to Rs 355.53 crore on 15.62% increase in total income to Rs 4635.49 crore in Q4 March 2013 over Q4 March 2012. The result was announced during trading hours today, 8 May 2013. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group.
Financial services company Bajaj Finance jumped 6.19% to Rs 1360.50. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. The company will announce its year ended March 2013 (FY13) results on 15 May 2013.
Madras Cements galloped 5.11% to Rs 258. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group. The company will announce its FY13 results on 30 May 2013.
Indiabulls Real Estate rose 5.03% to Rs 80.45. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group.
Paints and varnishes maker Berger Paints India rose 5.02% to Rs 214.30. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The stock hit a record high of Rs 217.70 in intraday today, 8 May 2013. The company will announce its FY13 results on 30 May 2013.
