Intimates of strike at HO in Visakhapatnam in protest of disinvestment

Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) is in receipt 20 November 2017(late evening) of an Office Memorandum dated 16 November 2017 issued by Department of Investment & Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Ministry of Finance, GOI informing constitution of an inter ministerial group (IMG) for the purpose of appointing intermediaries such as Transactional Adviser(s) and Legal Adviser(s) for the strategic disinvestment of GOI equity of DCI.

In protest against the above, both the shore based executives and non-executives of DCI at Head Office, Visakhapatnam have gone on mass leave on 21 November 17.

However, the operations of the dredgers at various projects are going on smoothly and there is no disruption to the same.
