Escorts consolidated net profit rises 9.60% in the March 2020 quarter

Sales decline 15.97% to Rs 1385.65 crore

Net profit of Escorts rose 9.60% to Rs 127.90 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 116.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019. Sales declined 15.97% to Rs 1385.65 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 1649.08 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019.

For the full year,net profit declined 1.39% to Rs 472.25 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 478.93 crore during the previous year ended March 2019. Sales declined 7.22% to Rs 5810.09 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 6262.02 crore during the previous year ended March 2019.
