Eveready Industries India standalone net profit declines 26.61% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 3.06% to Rs 283.17 crore

Net profit of Eveready Industries India declined 26.61% to Rs 4.00 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 5.45 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 3.06% to Rs 283.17 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 274.75 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 3.30% to Rs 50.65 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 49.03 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 3.50% to Rs 1322.51 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1277.76 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
