April-December 2014 down by 42% and December 2014 down by 34%
The Solvent Extractors' Association of India has just compiled the export data for export of oilmeals for the month of December 2014. The total export of oilmeals during April-December 2014 is reported at 1,841,523 tons compared to 3,190,438 tons i.e. down by 42%. In December 2014, export of oilmeals is reported at 389,811 tons compared to 590,357 tons in December 2013 i.e. down by 34%. Export of soybean meal greatly reduced in last 9 months due to total disparity for soybean meal in international market. Brighter side is the share of rapeseed meal has increased from 682,653 to 895,585 tons, while ricebran extractions export doubled in last 9 months.Powered by Capital Market - Live News
