Finolex Cables net profit rises 78.86% in the March 2014 quarter

Sales rise 2.73% to Rs 642.49 crore

Net profit of Finolex Cables rose 78.86% to Rs 69.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 38.75 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013. Sales rose 2.73% to Rs 642.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2014 as against Rs 625.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2013.

For the full year,net profit rose 42.96% to Rs 207.68 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 145.27 crore during the previous year ended March 2013. Sales rose 4.14% to Rs 2336.67 crore in the year ended March 2014 as against Rs 2243.84 crore during the previous year ended March 2013.
