Fortis Malar Hospitals standalone net profit declines 44.64% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 7.76% to Rs 33.19 crore

Net profit of Fortis Malar Hospitals declined 44.64% to Rs 1.24 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 2.24 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 7.76% to Rs 33.19 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 30.80 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit declined 18.80% to Rs 6.22 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 7.66 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales rose 9.91% to Rs 129.30 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 117.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
