Gitanjali Gems net profit declines 1.92% in the March 2013 quarter
Capital MarketNet profit of Gitanjali Gems declined 1.92% to Rs 44.38 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 45.25 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012. Sales rose 67.53% to Rs 3656.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2013 as against Rs 2182.47 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2012.
For the Audited full year,net profit rose 2.64% to Rs 265.16 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 258.34 crore during the previous year ended March 2012. Sales rose 33.85% to Rs 10380.67 crore in the year ended March 2013 as against Rs 7755.47 crore during the previous year ended March 2012.
