Godrej Industries standalone net profit declines 27.72% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 6.97% to Rs 315.48 crore

Net profit of Godrej Industries declined 27.72% to Rs 31.73 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 43.90 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 6.97% to Rs 315.48 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 294.93 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 5.71% to Rs 157.30 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 148.81 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 8.42% to Rs 1201.41 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1311.93 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
