Godrej Properties advances after large bulk deal

Godrej Properties rose 2.26% to Rs 321.95 at 10:51 IST on BSE after a bulk deal of 25.19 lakh shares was executed on the scrip at Rs 320 per share at 09:21 IST on BSE today, 24 September 2015.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 84.57 points or 0.33% at 25,738.42

On BSE, so far 25.62 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 45,062 shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 329 and a low of Rs 316.95 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 360 on 20 August 2015. The stock had hit a 52-week low of Rs 220.10 on 17 October 2014.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 23 September 2015, rising 1.89% compared with Sensex's 5.64% fall. The stock had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, surging 25.54% as against Sensex's 7.13% fall.

The mid-cap realty firm has equity capital of Rs 99.76 crore. Face value per share is Rs 5.

Godrej Properties ' consolidated net profit rose 20.6% to Rs 55.03 crore on 27.4% fall in total income to Rs 263.32 crore in Q1 June 2015 over Q1 June 2014.
