Grasim Industries standalone net profit rises 72.68% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 13.11% to Rs 2876.13 crore

Net profit of Grasim Industries rose 72.68% to Rs 315.49 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 182.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 13.11% to Rs 2876.13 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 2542.87 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 60.72% to Rs 1560.00 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 970.64 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 15.35% to Rs 10345.65 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 8969.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
