Greaves Cotton standalone net profit rises 61.37% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales rise 3.02% to Rs 403.83 crore

Net profit of Greaves Cotton rose 61.37% to Rs 38.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 23.74 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales rose 3.02% to Rs 403.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 391.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 143.81% to Rs 198.78 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 81.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 4.42% to Rs 1610.28 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 1684.72 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
