Gujarat Industries Power Co standalone net profit declines 16.14% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales rise 11.34% to Rs 374.34 crore

Net profit of Gujarat Industries Power Co declined 16.14% to Rs 69.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 82.45 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 11.34% to Rs 374.34 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 336.22 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 6.66% to Rs 244.50 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 229.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 4.07% to Rs 1363.95 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 1310.56 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
