Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals standalone net profit rises 227.68% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 7.71% to Rs 1203.42 crore

Net profit of Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals rose 227.68% to Rs 238.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 72.76 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 7.71% to Rs 1203.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1303.90 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 201.89% to Rs 521.30 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 172.68 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 0.81% to Rs 4588.77 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 4551.90 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
