Hindalco Industries standalone net profit declines 35.71% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 10.28% to Rs 9219.25 crore

Net profit of Hindalco Industries declined 35.71% to Rs 159.53 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 248.15 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 10.28% to Rs 9219.25 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 8359.85 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit declined 34.54% to Rs 925.16 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 1413.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 23.65% to Rs 34094.41 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 27573.06 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
