Hindustan Zinc standalone net profit rises 6.18% in the March 2015 quarter

Sales rise 13.50% to Rs 4073.11 crore

Net profit of Hindustan Zinc rose 6.18% to Rs 1997.44 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 1881.20 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014. Sales rose 13.50% to Rs 4073.11 crore in the quarter ended March 2015 as against Rs 3588.69 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2014.

For the full year,net profit rose 18.44% to Rs 8178.00 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 6904.62 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. Sales rose 8.39% to Rs 14588.71 crore in the year ended March 2015 as against Rs 13458.95 crore during the previous year ended March 2014.
