Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) announced that Hitachi Appliances, Inc., its parent company, has agreed to divest its stake in Hitachi Home & Life Solutions (India) into a global joint venture.Johnson Controls and Hitachi Appliances, Inc. have entered into a definitive agreement for their global joint venture to deliver most diverse technology portfolio in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
Through the agreement, Johnson Controls will obtain 60% ownership stake in Hitachi Appliances.
