Natural gas production declines 1.1% in FY2017
India's natural gas production increased 8.3% to 2.75 billion cubic meters (bcm) in March 2017 over a year ago. Natural gas output of ONGC jumped 20.1% to 1.97 bcm, but that of private and JV companies dipped 18.1% to 0.53 bcm. Meanwhile, the natural gas production of Oil India fell 1.0% to 0.25 bcm in March 2017.
